Lance Shumake joined the team at iWitness in the fall of 2000. Previously Lance had served as Director of Youth Ministries for the Indiana Baptist Convention. In addition, Lance has been speaking to students, student ministers, and adults in various settings for the past 14 years. Lance also serves as an elder and co-teaches one of the Adult Bible Fellowships at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.

Lance and his wife Tammy live in Rockwall, Texas with their four children. Austin (Lil' Shu) was born in October of 1999. Liberty (Libby) was born in February 2002, Wesley (Tiger) born in September of 2003 and Glory arrived in October of 2006. They also have a yellow lab named Shooter.
